Recently renovated hotel, but I chose the hotel because it had a restaurant and a bar. Having been out all day I wanted a dessert and a drink in the bar. I was told that it was closed. It was 8.30 on a Friday evening. So as I had some biscuits in my room I asked for a glass of wine to take to my room. I was refused this simple request.I asked for the manager who did not appear, the reception told me it was not possible. I did not expect this level of service from a Marriott hotel. There are no shops or cafes in the area, just multi-storey car parks and a couple of restaurants. All the time I was there I did not see anyone in the restaurant or sat at the bar. It had no atmosphere and the menu very limited. Although the room was good the fridge would not stop making a loud noise and the water froze in the plastic bottle. I had to unplug the fridge at night in order to sleep. The morning staff at reception seemed pleasant and helpful. I would say that this hotel needs better management.

The hotel and room were clean and quiet but the room was very underwhelming. Not what I'd expect from a Marriott. The front desk staff told us breakfast was over at 10:30 and when we showed up at 10:05 the woman working the Bistro very rudely told us she was closed while she counted her money. So we walk to the nearest Starbucks for coffee. Parking wasnt clearly explained, but we were told we better act quick bc they ticket quickly. You can either scan to pay on your way out of the parking garage ($16 but you have to stay) or add it to your room ($20, can go in and out, and you don't need to put anything on your mirror or dash board to prove you paid like some hotels). We had to ask pointed questions to figure all of that out. The front desk staff was very nice, but they could definitely due with some training. The rooms and hotel were clean. Overall, I'd recommend staying if youre looking for a 1-2 night trip.

Hotel maintenance issues
The hotel was being worked on so we had maintenance to come to our room because the toilet over flowed but they were very helpful and kind.

Property being renewed, unfriendly staff
The property itself was undergoing renovations. The cleaning staff were friendly and the woman I had at checkout was nice. Some of the staff were incredibly dismissive and almost rude - I asked about late checkout and was told outright they were booked out and that it would not be possible, even if I paid. The person was very short with me on the phone and made 0 effort to help in any way. I then booked a half day via another provider and stayed. They didn't even offer an apology or anything - after explicitly telling me the hotel was booked out. After even trying to be nice then the lady was rude and doubled down - it wasn't great.

Place was pretty shabby. Had to pull out refrigerator plug because fridge made so much noise. Room had construction outside on Saturday and room was right next to elevator. No complementary water and no breakfast included

The carpet was dirty. The building needs some upkeep. Dragging luggage from the parking lot to the hotel was inconvenient

Let guests know about construction happening.
The building was under construction during the visit and wasnโt made aware of it before arriving or when I checked in from the staff. Didnโt realize it until I got in the elevator and saw a sign saying that the water would be shut off for a couple of hours during the day. Then went I got to my room I heard all the banging, dropping of items, etc. Iโm just glad I wasnโt in the room majority of the time but when I tried to sleep in some or take a nap during the day it was hard with the noise. The staff was friendly though, but was just expecting more from my stay.

I canโt believe this place has a 8.4 score. This is my trusted site for reading reviews and I was steered wrong this time. Service was mediocre at best. The rooms are very small and oddly shaped, we struggled to figure out how to open 2 carryons and not trip over them. The sink handles leaked and made a mess on the counter and you can hear everything happening in the rooms next door. The people were not loud, just no insulation. The bed was relatively comfortable and the room clean (mostly) but it wasnโt a 8+ property.
