A must stay in Durango
The hotel was amazing with much history. The furniture matched the era of the hotel. I loved that each room had a journal you filled out & left. Only had the opportunity to eat in the Saloon while we were there & food & service were excellent. Hotel staff also very knowledgeable, courteous & kind.

Historic & nice
Great location and many great historical displays throughout the hotel. The saloon had great food and great entertainment. The only downfall was the extremely tiny bathroom and shower in our otherwise great room. It was as small as than a port a John! We had a queen & twin bed room as did our friends and their bathroom was completely fine. Parking is limited but free. Would stay again.

Wow! Spectacular place.
Awesome! Wonderful hotel, so much detail in everything. Great visit.
Even had a small room journal for each guest to write in about their visit & where they had travelled from.
Only problem we had was trying to find parking lot late at night being as we were tired.
Nice meal at Mahogany Grille & enjoyable drinks at Diamond Belle saloon with ladies dressed in costumes! So much fun!

Nice Hotel
The hotel & room was great. The Mahogany Grille was amazing! The only downside of the hotel is that there are steps you must take your luggage up & we had A LOT. I would definitely stay again.

Staff was very helpful. The rooms are full if antiques. I was glad that the bathrooms had reals bars of soap, since I was tired if the liquid dispensers. It was a wonderful stay.

This is an old-west style hotel that adds a lot of character. In addition, it is located in the heart of downtown Durango, so much of the most popular areas to shop, dine, or photograph is very walkable.
