Big Disappointment
We always stay at Comfort Suites & are always very pleased, but this stay was different. The staff, especially Margarita at the desk, were professional & helpful, but the rooms are another story. The 1st room was missing the long cushion on the couch & the safety latch on the door had been ripped off & was hanging by a screw. Additionally, the hallway had a smell like someone had been smoking marijuana. We went back to the desk, Margarita apologized & assigned us another room. The other room was clean, but the furniture was dated & in need of an upgrade, especially the couch. Also, the faucet in the bathtub continually had a small stream of water flowing from it that could not be turned off. The tub also had permanent rust stains. Although hot water came from the sink, the tub, at best, had only very lukewarm water. Additionally, the smoke detector had been ripped from the wall & only wires were hanging where it should have been. One feature of Comfort Suites that we enjoy is the lemon water available in the lobby. The lemon water here had the strong taste of lemon rinds making it undrinkable. It seemed like they just kept adding water to old lemons & didn't refresh them. The breakfast buffet had most of the regular items one would expect, but the only bread product was sliced white bread, no bagels of muffins like the other Comfort Suites. In conclusion, I will stay at other Comfort Suites since I have been pleased with the others, but I would never stay at this one again.

Very disappointing
This property was a huge disappointment. The staff was not very welcoming hardly addressing my husband and I at all. The lobby looked run down. We got to our room and it was clean but also run down. Holes in the comforter and the sofa was snagged badly. The tub would not turn off. There was a constant stream coming out. It had obviously been happening for a while because there were stains around the drain. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was terrible; stale cereal, some kind of egg omelette that looked burnt, orange juice machine was out of order and the coffee was like sludge. It's surprising since the location is in the heart of businesses. I would not recommend this place.

Run for the hills and stay in a tent.
I checked in at 7.30 and listened as the Front Desk Manager explained to someone she was speaking with that their room selections were limited due to facility management issues. I was not given the upgraded King suite that I reserved. My room had no bedside lamp. The sofa had stains. The wallpaper was peeling. The bathroom shower head leaked and sprayed onto the wall and had caused the wallpaper to come loose. Mold was on paper and behind it next to the vertical edge of the tub enclosure. The toiled had been affixed to the floor with caulk and was sideways.

A decent stay
Overall, this is a solid place to stay. We had a few small issues concerning the lack of toilet paper provided and the room door on the verge of breaking. The vent in the bathroom could use some attention. Small problems but would stay here again.

Use to be a nice place - not anymore
I have stayed here before but he has really become run down. A light in the bathroom was broken. The tub looked like someone had been sanding the bottom. Was worried it would break. Thank goodness I aske for extra shampoo and conditioner when I checked in - the bottles in the room had been used!. The wallpaper is coming off of the walls in the bathroom. The water pressure wash horrible and the water wouldn't stay hot - had to keep turning up. The seat in the bedroom the faux leather worn off, could understand that because it was the part that fit next to the dresser. The breakfast was nothing to talk about at all. The eggs were burnt and the sausage looked like it had been sitting there all day. Look like hockey pucks. No muffins of any time. Employees liked like they didn't want to be there. When I was checking out the guy at the counter like like hidden in the hall behind the desk looking at his phone. Never even acknowledge I was there. I placed the key down and left. I will not be going back there. Wish I had taken pictures to post.

My day was fine but this evening December 8, 2024 at approximately around 8 or 9 PM the person that was working the front desk was very unprofessional very disrespectful. I had an issue with her dealing with two beverages I brought, but as I hand her my money, I expect the same courtesy when someone gives me my money back when I give it to you on your hand, you give it back to me in mine not put my money on the counter. That’s very disrespectful and unprofessional so I asked for the manager. The young lady told me but first we got to dispute where I asked her to give me my money back and give it to me in my hand and then I asked for the manager. She told me she don’t give the managers personal number to the guest that’s OK but then I asked her for the corporate number and she sat back in the chair and made like I wasn’t even in front of her. I stood there for a few more minutes or a few more seconds to say and I asked her again ma’am may I have the corporate number because I’m not gonna tolerate this from no one, especially being rude and unprofessional so the manager came downstairs, she told the manager her side story and I told the manager my side of the story, but she gonna be on the phone telling the manager she want meput off the premises because of her respectfulness and her unprofessionalism. I’m the one that’s wrong. She has a job to do and she’s supposed to cage to the guest. I’m not saying go out of your way, but how she handled the situation was very unprofessiona

Hotel Needs Improvements
Registration staff was excellent . The hotel had several dirty areas . Our hallway had trash on the floor and was not cleaned up from Friday to Sunday . The door to the elevator room was propped open with a bucket our entire stay . The sofa in our room was also worn and very dirty. The breakfast bar was good but very crowded and they couldn’t keep up with having food available. The hotel is in a good location to Innsbrook and Short Pump .
