Noticeable decline
This was our third stay at this hotel and we have noticed a decline since our first stay in 2023. First and foremost, the front desk staff is always kind and helpful, especially Kelly.
Now onto the rest…room service is every other day, which is fine. But on the day we were supposed to get room service, they changed the towels and the garbages and that was it. Beds and bathroom left untouched. Maybe they are having staffing issues, but if so, nothing was said.
Our room had broken lamp shades, issues with sound coming from the air conditioner (bad internal fan?), a loud pump sound from the bathroom, and the walls are very thin. Our room was by the elevator and we heard every time the elevator arrived on the floor.
We did ask to switch rooms, but the hotel was sold out, so we completely understood that it wasn’t an option.
This hotel isn’t the worst we have stayed in, but we feel like the decline in care of the hotel and room service needs to be pointed out. Newer hotels have been built in this area since our first stay and we will be exploring them going forward.
