Upon arriving to our room, we found a prescription pill bottle on the floor. It was not under anything, so it should have been easily seen by housekeeping. It made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. We were thankful that my young kids didn't find it before us. The hotel staff quickly moved us to a different room, which was appreciated.

Pretentious & not family oriented
This hotel was nice for a business traveler or someone with more means. Not for an average family. The area was more downtown, busy traffic. The mall nearby was more high end. For a family traveling on a budget not accommodating.
I was very disappointed no one told me at check in that the breakfast was not complimentary. It doesnโt start until 7, which was late for our schedule. We waited for breakfast to start only to find out it was $24 per person. And was identical, comparable food to other hotel competitors free breakfast. Was a bit too pretentious for my taste to โpretendโ to be fancy with โplain Janeโ food and a waiter dressed up that I then had to tip to bring me OJ. We didnโt have time at that point to change plans.
Wi-Fi is NOT free either, ran on my hotspot instead of paying 9.95 for wifi. Could have done without the โnickel and dimingโ to try and be a fancy hotel.
I did not like that there wasnโt an extra sink area to get ready. Thatโs important with a family especially as a mom of teenage boys who need their own space. I wound up drying my hair and straightening by the couch while kids used the bathroom. Wasnโt even an outlet near the mirror to help this situation.
As an average mom, I would never stay again.

They were sold out of our room that we reserved. ๐ค Didnโt sleep well on the pull out bed. It was very uncomfortable. The king bed was great, but four people canโt sleep on it. Since they sold out of the two queen size beds, we had to get the king bed and pull out. Wasnโt ideal and we didnโt sleep well due to it.

Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is very slow with serving. Maybe 3 tables with 3-5 people at each table. We waited about 45 minutes just to get our bill each time we ate there. Also, no buffet option when it states a buffet.

Have stayed at this hotel many times before Covid and after. Itโs gone downhill in terms of service! Staff overall very nice and friendly but room service has been completely eliminated since Covid which makes no sense. If we stay at a Marriott we expect room service Ordering food from our room and then having to go downstairs to pick it up ourselves is ridiculous and unacceptable.
No extra service than a motel very disappointed.
