Not a four star hotel to me. The location is good in a quiet and charming area, equipment are there but extensively used and the room wasn't clean, like the shower and carpet. Bathroom quite small, mixer tap broken and no hot water at some point. About the staff: We were woken up by people back at 4am and the guy at the reception reacted quite quickly. Alternatively another receptionist was sleeping at 2pm on the reception desk. Breakfast: not a large choice but ok.

The staff were lovely they couldn’t do enough for you, room was ok, mattress on the big bed wasn’t great, pillows are very flat, 2 plug sockets were burnt out so couldn’t be used. Carpet was very dusty. Cups could be bigger for a tea or coffee & replenished daily. Apart from a few minor details that could be fixed we were happy with the location
