2 night reservation - without thinking laid the room key on the desk as I walked out for the day. They then refused to honor the 2nd night and refused a refund. Never again!

A few surprises
We needed a 1night stay w/o spending a fortune. That’s what we got. Friendly staff, clean rooms that needed some repairs, limited breakfast. Too many things needed repair! Unfortunately when we got up the next morning we found the elevator out of order what appeared to be a pre scheduled repairs. We were on the 2nd floor so had to carry our luggage downstairs. You get what you pay for.

Hotel was very run down and needing to be updated. Elevator was not working. Room had black stuff on all the mirrors and the shower fixture. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast consisted of cereal, bread, apple and banana, coffee, milk and juice.

I didn’t enjoy it but didn’t hate it either
The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. The room was average and the window was broken which is evidence that some kind of altercation had taken place at some point in time. But on the bright side, the bed was really comfy.

Refund refused by hotel
Booked 2 nights through Hotels.com, wasn't thinking the next morning and dropped the key off at the desk. The second night, they said I had checked out - too bad! No room, no refund! Hotels.com called them - same result - we have your money and you don't have a room. So Hotels.com is not refunding and neither is the hotel.

Nice hot breakfast, excellent value, overall clean. But our room had stain on carpet, torn shower curtain, shoe prints on bathroom floor, missing drain cap in sink (plastic stem visible only) and linear scratches down the hallway as if a cart were repeatedly scraping wall. Some maintenance needed

Upon arrival check in was very nice froendly customer service. The water was cold reported to front desk guy said it was normal i said not for a hotel, the ice machine stop working on hall for guest, reported to front desk guy said its normal o ask how its a hotel this isn't normal stuff because these are needs of the guest and if these things arent available the service is not gonna be good.No i wouldnt stay again !!!

Eyes burning
The entire hotel smelled as if someone was cooking Indian spiced foods... It burned my eyes... It was so bad I was ready to go find another hotel, if it was for my reservation being non refundable... The breakfast was non existent.. good thing the packaged oatmeal was not dated.. no juice available... Just poor.....

Tipton stay.
The tv didn't work, sink and tub missing functional drain plugs. The front desk staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The beds were very comfortable and able to have my dogs stay with me.

Bath tub was unacceptable, stained , pillowcases were stained, looked like blood on them . Contenital breakfast was horrible, no juice , no danish or donuts, had to ask for fruit. Coffee very weak , no yogurt had to ask . No one was monitoring the breakfast. Pancake machine was out of mix , had to ask . Evenings employee was very nice.!
