10 minute walk with a rolling suitcase from Rome Termini train station. It is great old building. The stairs heading up from the 2nd to 4th floors are a beautiful marble. Our room was very nice and very quiet. Slept like a baby. The gentleman at the front desk were great. Breakfast was included. Very nice continental style.

Wonderful place to stay and take in all the views. Great balcony room to enjoy the city of Rome's busy streets, sights, people watch everything. The hotel inside has many little places to wonder around and get lost in old Italian painted ceilings, courtyard, a beautiful chapel on the 3 floor. The staff is great especially Pereira, went above and beyond to help make our trip even better.

This hotel was AMAZING! The history associated with it is incredible. Located within a short walk to the Termini Station. Lots a good restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the Colosseum. The rooms were huge and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. If I make it back to Rome I will stay here again.

We had to change rooms because the air conditioning was not working at all. The replacement room was only slightly better, but the air conditioning still couldn't cool the room properly. After we complained, we were asked to check the replacement rooms ourselves to see if the air conditioning was working. Unfortunately, we found that several rooms had the same problem. The rooms were not clean, were visibly worn out, and certainly did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The only positive aspect of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, who did their best despite the issues. We were travelling as a family of four, including a 1½-year-old child. Because of the extreme heat and the lack of functioning air conditioning, staying at the hotel was simply not an option. As the hotel had no other suitable rooms to offer us, we had no choice but to move to another hotel.
