The individual at the front desk barely acknowledged me. She also did not bother to explain the layout of the property. I decided to figure it out myself because I didn't receive assistance from the attendant. It seemed like I annoyed her by my presence at the front desk. I told my wofe that I don't think she said more than 10 words to me in total between check-in or check-out.
This interaction set a negative tone because it felt like I am not worth anyone's time, but the company was certainly willing to charge my card and take money from me.
Also, it is a small thing, but we called the desk for towels and we got towels. Then we asked for a replacement bulb for a lamp in the room and got towels. Lastly, we asked for clean cups and got towels. We made a joke out of it, but it reflects the lack of interest that peopke showed in hearing from us as guests.
One other small thing, it might be helpful to have a microwave in rooms or one on each floor.
