The Superior room for two was described as being spacious and comfortable, but it turned out to be a cramped little cupboard with no view, a narrow bed (not even close to a kingsize), a minibar and ONE chair. Yes, one, in a room for two people. And the chair wasn't even an armchair, just a regular chair with no table. In fact, there was no table in the whole room, so absolutely nothing to put your things on! Also, the TV was situated on the side wall, making it impossible to watch it comfortably from the bed. Perhaps they expected us to take turns sitting in the only chair? Not really the 'staycation' we had in mind!
I was deeply disappointed, so I returned to the reception and paid extra to be upgraded to a Deluxe room, which turned out to be much nicer. Our original room would have been OK if I had booked a Standard room. However, for a 'Superior' room it was a (bad) joke.
