Reminds me of spirit airlines...
The hotel price was reasonable. I think the pictures online over sell what the room sizes actually are... which is kind of what a good photographer is supposed to do, right? Thats fine. But the part that chaps my hide is the 50$ valet cost, then add tips!! Where should i park the car i drove to your hotel? I may have stayed somewhere else with free parking and gotten a bigger room for the cost of the valet added to the room cost... the hotel staff was friendly. Checkin/out was easy. The room was fine. The mini bar was STOCKED with yummy options so that was nice. (Not that I got anything- 11$ for a figi water? Come on guys) I feel in the end, the experience was fine but they reminded me a little bit of spirit airlines. They get you on board with the prices and then get you with the fees. 11$ waters, 50$ valets, etc...

Hard Rock Gaslamp Quarter San Diego rocks!!
I had a meeting in the afternoon in San Diego on a Friday, so I decided to bring my fiancee for the trip down to SD from Bakersfield where we call home sonwe could make a night of the whole thing and the Hard Rock Gaslamp Quarter in SD was our hotel choice. It was a very nice overall stay, the service and cleanliness was excellent from the bars and dining to the itel staff and valet, excellent staff and excellent place to stay in Downtown SD.... Will definitely try to make another trip sometime soon for a weekend of leisure!
