The food could be improved, and the staff's service as well; they generally don't seem very happy to assist and are always seeking tips. The gym could be better equipped, the beverages of higher quality, and the entertainment options more varied and readily available. Additionally, the beach is not very attractive. Food -Two thumbs and big toes down .
The overall stay was good, however the food was horrible. The market place buffet was nasty for breakfast lunch and dinner. The papala was at best ok. The ocean restaurants was mediocre. The best restaurants on the resort was the Koi restaurant. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, although the dining experience was disappointing. The buffet restaurant offered mediocre meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the ocean restaurant was unremarkable. The only truly exceptional dining experience on the resort was at the Koi restaurant. The Valentine’s dinner was so bad that all four courses were disguising so much so that by the time our entree’s came we were disgusted . The steak for out entree was cooked so hard and the lobster was mushy. We sent it back and left before the last course was served. The entertainment for the valentine’s dinner was the best part of the dinning experience.

Overall, hotel is OK. Our room was clean enough. Unfortunately pillows are not comfortable at all and bad was not so comfy too. No full size mirror in the room. No great service at the restaurants and in buffets. Very poor choices of meat and fish, the veggies and fruits choices are good. No activities at the beach on adults section, the entertainment was not great. You are not getting good services at the beach bar if you are not giving a tip.

O que deixou a desejar foram algumas coisas, vou citar elas aqui: Primeiro os restaurantes que precisam fazer reservas, a churrascaria "BRASILERA" Algo assim, que deveria ser um rodizio, extremamente ruim, a carne passava a cada 20min, e passou apenas 3x já e perguntaram se podiam recolher a mesa. segundo, sobre a divulgação das informações, teve festa na piscina, festa do branco e não ficamos sabendo de nada disso, pois no aplicativo, mostra apenas o que vai ter no adulto only, que sinceramente só tem Karaoke. As atividades do Adults Only, são voltada praticamente para os Idosos. Fora isso. Foi quase tudo perfeito.

Birthday trip
Firstly, the resort is new and very clean very well kept. I’ve been to Punta Cana numerous times but this is the first and more than likely the last stay at The Serenade. The food was not good at all and we weren’t able to book the steak house during our 4 night stay because they were all booked and only open on Friday and Saturday. It was very clear that most of the staff did NOT want to be there. Most had bad attitudes and were not friendly especially the bartenders. They(bartenders) talked about us in front of us not realizing we understood some of what they were saying. The nightly shows/entertainment were maybe an hour long and after that, everything(the resort) was dead. I will definitely stay somewhere else next time until they can work out the kinks.

The Serenade is a very pretty resort. The rooms are lovely. The staff are very friendly. The food was ok but I found there was not much variety. It is a small resort so perhaps that accounts for choice selection at the buffet. Also I did not book restaurants when I arrived and when I tried a few days into my trip they were already booked up. They are not open every night so that was part of the problem. The beach is lovely and a nice shallow area that extends quite far so people are not all clustered together. You have to be out by 7:00 if you want a front row beach hut. They fill up quickly.

I didn’t care for this resort at all. They made you make reservations for dining but never had openings to book. Out of the week we were only able to book 2 reservations. The food was sub par at the buffet and after seeing people with the serving spoon in their mouth then back to the bowl for all to use. The best part was the entertainment. The pools were cold including the hot tubs. We had no hot water in our room for the first 2 days.

I stayed in Serenade Resort last week and faced so many issues. First of all I should say that the pools and beach were amazing! The rooms were clean too. Our major issue was with the staff, management and services that we had a horrible experience. Staff were really rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. As an example, nobody cleaned the tables around the pool during the day and once my friend took some empty glasses to the bar in order to get new drinks. Apparently, she didn't put them in the right place and the bartender told us you must first put the empty glasses right in front of me to give you new drinks, and he was really really rude! One more time, 6 of us were sitting at a table in an outdoor buffet, as there was not a bigger table available and the waitress made a scene that you are not allowed to sit at a smaller table and gave us a very hard time. Another day, a bartender in the pool refused to give drink to one of my friend saying there were other people before her which was a lie as we all saw my friend was the first in line and I believe she was expecting bigger tips from other group. In another incident, a door inside one of the rooms fell down. The maintenance guy showed up but couldn't fix it and told my friends not to touch it as it may fall down again. Then we asked to change their room and they said it we should sign a form saying Serenade didn't do anything wrong and we will not leave a bad review for them which we refused. I won't recommend this resort at all

Service was not consistent, depending on the employee either you got awesome service or else were not even receiving a smile, borderline arrogance sometimes. Check-in is at 3PM, we arrived early and were not informed that reservation for restaurant ends at 3PM so you won't be able to eat at a restaurant on your arrival day. Also, the hotel had big problem of humidity, the floor of the room gets wet as well as all your clothes (we had to change room as it was dripping wet). 3 table diner restaurants were closed out of 5 so this limited quite a lot the offering Facilities are good (pool, poolbar...) as well as the beach

CLEAN PROPERTY NICE STAFF HOWEVER THERES A FEW INCONSISTENCIES. THE FOOD IS A HIT OR MISS. HUGE PROPERTY NOT ENOUTH DAILY EVENTS. I WAS “VIP” DID NOT GET ANY SPECIAL TREATMENT AND IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY.

Over a great stay! The suites were huge, and refilled the fridges everyday if needed. Food spots were diverse and very appetizing. Pool options were all fun (and quiet in November). Not many people, adults only side, were interested in any activities…but the family side next door had plenty. Only issue we had was trying to book one of the restaurants, as their online booking system was not stable. Although we managed to book it finally, it got cancelled when we arrived due to an event. It would be nice to have known upfront at arrival that it wasn’t available during certain days.
