Unsanitary unprofessional and terrible place
I recently booked two nights at Hotel Harrison in Miami but was appalled to find recent reviews mentioning bedbugs and roaches. As someone with insectophobia, I immediately contacted management, who offered to reimburse half the cost. I stayed elsewhere, only to find that four weeks later, I have not received the promised refund or any communication from the hotel. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I strongly advise against staying here. In addition I was not able to connect with hotels.com as there is no customer service but robot to get help. I’m very disappointed in both organizations.

Horrible place to stay
The staff was not friendly. The rooms were so nasty. The TV did not work. We went and asked never got fixed. The toilet was broken and sprayed water everywhere. Never got it fixed. Would never recommend

Very misleading hotel listing
The moment you walked into the lobby, the smell made me gag. It smelled like a dirty, mildewy basement. The lobby of the hotel was disgusting on sight and filled with obviously dirty and unclean furniture. I understand that it's a public common space but the furniture was filthy and I wouldn't consider sitting. The desk clerk left a handwritten message on a torn cardboard sign on the desk with a number to call for check-in. I really wanted to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt but I couldn't help to assume that if the lobby/welcoming space looked and smelled like it did, the room definitely wouldn't be any better. My husband and I decided not to bother checking in, so we found another nearby hotel in walking distance and was able to get a room. I hate to have lost out on that money but the peace of mind is worth it. The hotel listing photos was very misleading.

Creepy, intruding
Staff walk in to your rooms unannounced with no compensation. They don't knock or anything and dont offer any remedial solution. It was so embarrassing to be walked in on and they wont even speak to you or escalate your situation. It's creepy. The room is average. Good distance from Ocean drive. Keep your things safe and jam the door because it seems they do that a lot.

This place is the the worst place in Miami. Pictures are not reality. Bed bugs holes in the walls roaches poor customer service. The staff entered my room while I was away and stole my medication. This place is horrible.

Alot of reviews say they have bed bugs so we called 5 times to ask if they got rid of the problem with hotels.com on the line w me and they never answered. Unable to speak to them I cancelled with in 5 minutes they still charged me full price but wells fargo is helping with refund.
