Not sure where to start ...
The check-in was nice, all good.
However the room looked nothing like on the website, we had some odd huge kitchen attached to the bedroom, no sofa or chair in the room as advertised for the room category. The AC was as loud as a power plant, the whole room smelled musty and just stale. The tissue box in the bathroom must have gotten wet and was overgrown with green mold inside the cover hood - smelled lovely let me tell you. The second receptionist hat claw nails 5 inches long and couldn't type on the keyboard, when given all our names she could not find our booking and issue a second key card (I think she honestly had trouble writing).
The building is built so horrifically cheaply, I have never seen anything like this before (sorry, in Europe this would have collapsed at the first strong wind, and the safety inspector would not have approved that rickety elevator even if you bribed him a Bentley). We left 1 night early without even bothering to check-out since it was prepaid.
The only thing is ... I am not sure there are any bettter options in Jacksonville?!
Nice though - a great side-by-side dealer nearby, Sadler's sporting goods was super friendly and helpful! Jacksonville downtown is also cute, albeit small, but super nice.
