we knew we werenโt staying at the ritz but this experience was still a bit worse than i would have even expected. it had shockingly good reviews so i trusted it- and was wrong :( #1 itโs super far away from downtown chicago. the hotel is not in a great area at all also, i didnโt feel totally unsafe but i didnโt want to walk around late at night. its about a 50 minute drive or hour + long bus and train ride into downtown. when we got there the AC was off in our room so it was super hot and we couldnโt figure out how to turn it back on because the buttons on the fan wasnโt working. we figured it out via thermostat but still the room never really cooled off the way i would have wished. i kept trying to reset the system and eventually was successful but it was towards the end of our stay anyway. we only stayed for two nights and got back quite late the second night and neither of our room keys worked. the office was closed but someone from the staff just happened to be walking around to let us in, said it had been โdemagnetizedโ and offered no other apology or explanation, or new room keys. thankfully we were checking out the next day and didnโt need them but had we been staying longer we certainly wouldโve needed new keys. the room was okay, a bit gross in the carpet and shower but the bed was clean and comfortable (i inspected sheets and mattress thoroughly). the deadbolt in our door didnโt work properly and i had to force it to turn, and it was prone to getting stuck.

Es incomprensible que tenga una puntuaciรณn tan alta. No volverรฉ ni aunque me paguen.
Al menos las sรกbanas estaban limpias y el lavabo tambiรฉn pero al exterior daba autรฉntica pena. La moqueta daba asco y los muebles ni te cuento...
Las fotos son de cuando se hizo la reforma y debe hacer cientos de aรฑos.

A Great Stay
When we opened the door to our room, we were literally hit with a blast of cleanliness. The room smelled so clean, was so clean. It was very refreshing. The AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The frigde and microwave worked well, tho I wished there had been one of those individual coffee makers in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value for price
Great location, fairly close to the airport. The rooms were basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Minutes to Airport and Convention Center
Located within 15 minutes to OโHare airport and to Donald Stephens Convention Center, Regal Inn provided a clean, well priced room with microwave oven and mini fridge. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Loved the ease of getting into downtown Chicago and various foodie destinations.

Adequate with some quirks..
This property as well as the surrounding neighborhood is obviously in transition. They appear to be working on upgrading the property. The room we had was comfortable and adequate our needs..
Couple of things: Seemed that everyday our room key needed to be reprogrammed (saying that my phone was somehow responsible for that was both confusing and a lie). We arrived on an early flight and the front desk was adamant about a 3pm check in although the motel didnโt seem to be fully booked

Poco mantenimiento
El baรฑo estaba sucio con cabellos, tenรญa moho la tina y ademรกs estaba tapado el desagรผe. El seguro de la puerta estaba roto, por lo que daba la sensaciรณn de inseguridad, al dar las habitaciones a la calle. Las cortinas y las toallas estaban rotas.
