Superb stay! Our favourite hotel from our trip across Spain this summer. Las Casas de Judeira has a great location close to main attractions and is an historical monument in itself.
We love, love, loved this hotel. It is a sprawling building that felt like a maze at first, with a surprise around every corner.
Our room overlooked the pool area. It was a lovely, spacious room with bespoke historic features that really transported us through time and held a quaint, traditional feel.
The shared bar and pool areas were lovely! The pool was perfect for cooling off through the day and deep enough to do some swimming too. One of the lovely courtyards, lent itself to a bar area which operated as an honesty bar - a lovely touch!
We considered visiting the sister hotel in Seville following our stay here, and we would love to come back! It was part of our honeymoon travels and friends had rang ahead to organise a bottle of champagne for us, however this had already been done and so instead the hotel suggested using a local chocolate shop to gift - a really lovely surprise from friends and we appreciated the input from hotel staff in making this happen :)
