The hotel was in a PERFECT location for exploring Rome. It’s located in the busy Piazza Maddalena, steps away from the Pantheon. The hotel is more reminiscent of a B&B than a full service hotel. The floor plan is spread out a bit and depending on which part of the hotel you are staying multiple locked doors separate your room from the breakfast room and the exit. The breakfast offered was basic, but good enough to get your day started. I was always offered a fresh cappuccino and pastry. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make you feel at home. The only negative I could add would be the bed was extremely firm and the shower had low pressure. On the last night we ran out of hot water after 3 of 4 people showered. This could be expected in such an old building.
