This was an excellent hostel style stay - you just need to have the expectation of hostel not hotel. The bed was small but comfortable - take ear plugs as you will hear the guests in the capsules nearby. The shared spaces were good - showers were down the stairs as were most of the bathroom facilities. WiFi didn't always work well in the sleeping areas which was an issue for the electronic key at times. Enjoyed having access to shared kitchen and eating spaces. We were grateful to not be assigned an upper level capsule as that would have been a little more challenging for us as guests in our 60's to access. All in all a reasonably priced stay near the Grand Via and we would stay here again.

This place was awesome for what you paid for. There was a slight smell in some places and the showers were in a 20 second timer but other than that it was a nice safe comfortable place. I would stay again. It’s just definitely not lush living but that’s ok!

The capsules were clean and comfortable, but small and ventilation is poor and it’s quite warm at night. Some guests were noisy at night and any noise travels easily. Storage drawer under capsule was great and big enough for a carry on suitcase, but bring your own lock (the ones you can rent are flimsy). Shower/bathroom facilities are clean but there is some mold. Overall a good option for a short visit, but for me not ideal and comfortable enough for a longer stay.

We stayed at the Urban Inn hotel in Madrid and were pleasantly surprised by how new, clean, and modern everything felt. The sleeping pods were fairly comfortable, and while we were on a bottom bunk, we could hear movement from the capsule above—which might be worth considering if you’re a light sleeper. It was a bit warm inside the capsule, but cracking the door helped. There’s a fan inside, which is loud but personally comforting if you’re used to white noise. It did help with airflow. Bathrooms were located one floor down from the sleeping area. They were sleek and modern, though I wished I had brought more modest sleepwear since the sleeping quarters aren’t gender-separated. The showers had excellent rain-style heads and perfect water temperature, though changing was tricky with only one bench for six stalls. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to major tourist spots and several metro stations. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Storage was minimal but functional: one drawer under the capsule fit two carry-on bags. Note that towels and padlocks come with an extra charge. Overall, this hotel offered great value for the price. Despite a few quirks, I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The double bed was more spacious than expected! The front desk staff seemed annoyed and weren’t super helpful with the locks, which are hard to open and make a lot of noise all night. The showers were full of hair and mold too unfortunately. Many hallways smelled like sewage. But the air conditioning was nice in the main sleeping room. The location was fabulous and close to grand via and Malasaña shops. Worth it for location and travel on a budget but don’t expect to feel super clean!
