The hotel is located in a very good spot, staff were friendly and helpful, the place was okay only for one night if you plan to stay longer I’d advise to go somewhere nicer

We saw cockroaches in the room. They went under the bed, and there was also one next to the toilet. The shower door was broken and wouldn’t close properly. There were stains on the towels and curtains as well. The place was dirty and unhygienic.

The Hyde Hotel is certainly not luxurious but is, most definitely, very convenient and in a beautiful area of London. My room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a quite run down and a bit noisy but for the price it is very adequate.

STAY AWAY!! RISK FOR HEALTH!!! Bedbugs, woke up during night with itching bites, it looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned since the 1980s, there is no bed linen, the shower doesn’t work, and there are insects and black mold throughout the bathrooms. We left 5 h after check in. Sleep on a park bench, it’s cleaner!!!!

This place is DISGUSTING. I can't believe the people who run this place think this is ok. Cheap or not this unacceptable. The stairs are wearing away and crooked, the floors are chipping, the walls are mouldy and the taps can't decide what temperature to be. Worst of all, the beds are infested with bugs. Unsurprisingly I had no sleep. Was meant to stay for 2 nights but left after 1. DON'T come here. It's a scam.

Room had no AC. One tv was missing in one room other room had no remote for the tv. The room was up in an attic with ac so the heat from roof was overwhelming. This hotel should be shutdown. Staff couldnt help at all. Worst time ever.

Local antigo e extremamente simples, mas com excelente localização e custo/benefício, poucos metros do metrô, pontos de ônibus e comércios locais. No momento da chegada o quarto estava limpo e com lençóis e toalhas em boas condições, mas não houve nenhuma limpeza, substituição e/ou manutenção durante todo o período da estadia. Na maior parte do tempo havia uma pessoa no escritório para suportes eventuais. Pegamos um período crítico de calor, havia apenas um ventilador para suporte e necessidade de deixar janela aberta para ventilação. A janela era voltada para um beco sujo e com muito pássaros/pombos que incomodavam pelo barulho e sujeira. Havia ainda um aquecedor, mas não utilizamos no período. Estávamos assustados com as avaliações anteriores, mas no final foi muito útil pelo custo e localização.

Possibly the worst hotel I've stayed at. With just a useless fan to fight the heat the room was hotter than outside of the hotel making it difficult to sleep. I should have slept on the street and returned just to use the shower... The towels smelt damp even though they were clean. There was one choice of lightning ALL on and extremely bright or off. Even a cheap sidetable lamp would have made sense. Obviously recommend avoiding this hotel and especially in hot weather.

Billederne på hjemmesiden var meget fine, men da vi ankommet får vi et værelse i kælderen. Der var et vindue ud til deres rengøringsområde. og vinduet kan kun holdes åben ved at sætte noget i klemme, så man havde fjernet en dims fra gardinstangen til at holde det åbent. Der var smådyr i håndvasken, som om at man havde tømt et filter ned i vasken. Nogle af vores hvide håndklæder var beskidte. Dagen efter lå der pænt foldede "nye" håndkæder på sengen. Der var dog pletten fra igår. Så samme håndklæder. Meget lydhørt. Kan hører alle bevæge sig. Overboen hoste. Når de er i bad eller vasker hænder. Ikke egnet for par. Epic lokation. Tæt på alting inkl. handle, metro, spisesteder og indkøb. Meget hjælpsomt personale. Vi fik opbevaret vores kuffert før tjek-ind og efter tjek-ud.

The check-in process was easy and the staff was courteous. We had to wait a bit for them to finish cleaning the room but it was fine. The Studio family room included a full kitchen that was a bonus. The best thing about the hotel is the price for the location. Location is great

First room had no working tv , next room had no functioning air fan and it was a hot night. Because I complained I was punished by being given a room up 6 flights of stairs - the room had no towels but I was too tired to go back down to reception and ask for one ; it was 10.30 at night and had wasted half an hour changing rooms and climbing stairs
