Old, run down, Motel. Roaches. Smells like an old ashtray. Liquor bottles in the parking lot, crack pipe on the ground.. flushed the toilet and the shower water turned brown ?!?! We come to Sumter 1 weekend a year. Will not stay here again

I had to let the front desk know that my towels, bedding and cleaning wasn't taken care of for two straight days until I had to inform the front desk clerk more than once about the lack of services. Very disappointed in the service; which I shouldn't have had to mentioned in a hotel such as Quality Inn.

I did a late check in, and the lobby doors were locked, the front desk clerk was ready and available to open the doors quickly for me. >Parking was open and close to the room. >The pool... 30% of my decision to stay here was because it had a pool. Upon further discovery the pool has a sign posted that it was closed by the health department. The water looked clean and area looked maintained. Could be a temporary thing. >Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant via voucher. The restaurant is nice and offers a buffet and service dining options, with daily specials. It was a good stay, the room exceeded my expectations. And staff was courteous. Knowledge of the pool shut down would have influenced my decision to stay.
