My stay on Ikaria and at Terma Blue Hotel was truly unforgettable. It is a charming and atmospheric place where beautiful nature blends perfectly with the warmth and kindness of the local people. The island offers a peaceful environment, ideal for relaxing and recharging both body and mind. One of the highlights was swimming in the nearby thermal springs, which made the experience even more special and rejuvenating. Terma Blue is not a luxurious or extravagant hotel, but its simplicity is its greatest strength. The authentic atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and genuine hospitality create a unique feeling that is difficult to find elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and restore your energy, Ikaria is the perfect destination. I will definitely come back here again.

Within a 3 day period up to 3 hrs prior to checking in, I had to text the property manager 5 times and had Hotels.com call them twice to get the property manager to reply to my questions and to find out how to get the access code. Never did receive an email for the Wi-Fi password until the day before I left. One of the guest provided the Wi-Fi password. I was supposed to have a Mountain View room but received a room that was no bigger than a closet with no view b/c I was single person! You have to walk 4 flights of stairs to get to the entrance of the property. It’s a lot of stairs. No Elevator. The housekeeper was very nice and helpful. The next day the property mgr provided a property hostess who was new but very friendly and accommodating. The views were fabulous and the terrace was very nice.

Beautiful views from the property. Rooms were not huge but big enough for 2 people. There is a small kitchen provided on the downstairs level, and all rooms have a fridge. However, it should be noted that there are approximately 80 steps to ascend to get to the property, and also no parking provided. Whilst parking is available in the town, it is scarce. You also need to unload your bags first and then go and park the car. Also, we did not receive the instructions for check in until after check in time, which was very unhelpful. The same people also requested copies of our documents after check-in; all of which should have been done before, alongside payment of the tourist tax. We also raised an issue with the A/C and this was not looked out during our stay. There are no formal staff on-site, it is all handled remotely. Otherwise a nice stay in a lovely town.
