This was our second and definitely our last stay at this hotel.
After 10pm, someone barged into our room while my children and I were sleepingโthe front desk had mistakenly given another guest our room number and key. This was not only shocking but incredibly unsafe.
I immediately tried calling the front desk, but no one answered. When I went in person to speak with the front desk attendant, he had no explanation for how this happened.
The next morning, I spoke with the manager, who was condescending and dismissive. She actually asked me to help them figure out what went wrong, saying they โneed a new key systemโ and claiming we were โsupposed to be in room 411โ (we were in room 211). After pressing the issue, I finally received an apology, but she tried to downplay the situation by saying it was just a โmistakeโ and the front desk agent โflipped through the keys and gave the wrong one.โ This didnโt add upโI had done pre-check-in and my key was already prepared with my check-in paperwork. There was no flipping through anything.
Beyond this serious breach of security, the pool area is unsafeโthe tile surrounding it is extremely slippery and hazardous, especially for children. During our first visit, a homeless couple spent hours in the business area on the public computer, making the space feel uncomfortable and unmonitored.
