The hotel is located at the end of China town - overall, its location is not so bad (next to a few restaurants, convenient store, 3-4 USD to downtown by taxi, 8 USD to airport/bus terminal etc.) and most taxi drivers knew the name of the hotel or I directed them once they got to China town. The staff was very friendly, helpful, kind - they helped me a lot with booking tickets, planning trips, changing rooms, keeping my luggage for a few days etc. It's just the building is so old and your room is dark, somewhat damp, not so clean and potentially unpleasant. You will see ashtray next your bed. TV, mini-bar, hair-dryer, hot water works fine. You would probably feel like you're lost in an ancient motel in some unknown suburban city in West China. But in the end, it's Yangon! After a few weeks, I forgot all those unpleasant feelings I felt at my room and only remembers those friendliness of the staff although I won't stay there again until they improve room conditions. It's ok for once in lifetime.
