I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, and while the experience had its highlights, there were significant concerns during my visit. The room seemed okay at first, but my niece, who has seasonal allergies and sensitivities to dust and pollen, began sneezing uncontrollably. Initially, I thought it was her pre-existing condition. However, hours later, I experienced sneezing and developed a rash, which made me suspect that the room had not been properly vacuumed or cleaned. The atmosphere felt dusty, and this was quite discomforting. The bathroom shower curtain has tons of black mold stains, yellow ones too on the outside. The bathroom tile was also moldy (black)
Additionally, my niece left a hoodie in the room, but unfortunately, it was not found or returned yet which is disappointing.
On a positive note, the breakfast the next morning was excellent and truly appreciated. This was the redeeming factor of our stay and the main reason I gave a 3-star rating instead of a 1. I hope the management takes note of these issues, as they could greatly improve the overall guest experience.
