We chose to stay here because it was already top of the Hotels.com ratings for Siem Reap. It lives up to the No.1 billing in every respect.
The setting is beautiful, spacious, green, and peaceful. At night the ambience is terrific, subtle lighting leads you along the various paths with the sound of frogs from the paddy fields all around.
The villas are very thoughtfully desighen traditionaled, beautifully crafted from teak. They are comfortably spacious, the bathroom is a good size, the shower works good.
The breakfast is a good mix of western and local dishes, very nicely presented and tasty. We ate in both restaurants and enjoyed the offerings of local cuisine.
The staff couldn't be nicer, all were professional and efficient, with a friendly smile and greeting.
And, lots of thoughtful touches really made the stay special, from the graphic design of the maps in the rooms to the way our G&T was served at sunset. A great place to stay in Siem Reap.
