The place is old, cleanliness is OK, Joseph who runs the place is great and has some good recommendations, including Chefs Bistro in North Conway, excellent lobster roll with butter. Our room had a musty smell not overwhelming but noticeable. Check in area is open tell 9 pm.

Get what you pay for. Not bad, not great

For the price, it was great! We stayed in one of the Cabins, which was nice. This is a get what you pay for type of place though. Hasn’t been updated in a long long time. The bathroom did have some areas of mold & the A/C was hardly working. The bed was comfy and the staff was nice! Just know what to expect when you’re going in.

The room was fine for a single night, but for the price, I expected a more. The tub/shower were in need of replacement and the shower curtain was not very clean. There was also no coffee or tea. The receptionist was friendly and gave dinner recommendations. Check in was fast and easy. Parking was also plentiful and easy. Since it was leaf peeping season and there were a couple fairs in the area, the price was certainly inflated based on the hotel and amenities.

I thought the cabin would be cozy but it was quite run down inside with very old furniture and a gross tub/shower. It was supposed to be available at 3 but hadn’t been cleaned. We were told to come back later. The location was great as there were shops and restaurants near by, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Possibly, the rooms were in better condition than the cabin, but I didn’t see them. We needed two beds which is why we were in the cabin.

I had a very quiet and peaceful single night here. The room was perfectly fine for my needs. The view from the back (private) balcony of my room was quite nice. The staff are very friendly and there are multiple dining and shopping options within a 5-10 minute drive. I would stay here again if I were passing through the area.
