We chose this hotel mainly for its location near the DDP, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, aside from the location, the experience was disappointing.
The hotel is in poor condition, looking old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was a major issue. Even though we put up the “please clean my room” sign every day, our room was never cleaned during our two-week stay. The bed was only made about four times, and while fresh towels were provided, no actual cleaning was done.
The air-conditioning unit was dirty and triggered allergic reactions for me (I have asthma), so I had to sleep with a mask at night. The bed itself was very hard and uncomfortable, even for Korean standards.
On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly. However, the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance really affected our stay. I’ve stayed in better 2-star hotels, and I hope management addresses these issues.
