Cozy environment to expeience a hanok stay. Location is good but sleeping on futon is a little uncomfortable as it's hard alhough the floor is heated ondol.

Simply Awesome
This was my second time staying at the 24 hanok in Gyeongbokgung and it never disappoints. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The guesthouses are very clean and secure. The location is amazing, your a short walk from a subway station, many restaurants to choose from, and not far from a bank that accepts foreign debit and credit cards for withdrawal. Not to mention it's a short walk from the Gyeongbokgung palace! A must see. I will definitely be staying at the 24 hanok again when I stay in Seoul.

I was told I had to give a 20,000 won cash deposit when I arrived, and that I'd receive it back when I checked out. I tried to check out, but nobody was at the reception desk, even though I was told they were available 24 hours. I never got that money back. Other than that, it was fine.

Awesome!
The Hanok was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. If your not used to sleeping on the floor they will gladly give u more futons. The location was very convenient. Not to far from a major palace, metro station and tons of local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. I fully recommend the Hanok 24 to anyone wanting to stay in Seoul.

Very nice unique guest house
It's very convenient location, lots of good and interesting restaurants. Nice to have a washing machine. Don't expect about breakfast too much but it's nice to see the note from staff attach with bread. Staffs are very friendly, We had lots of luggage (after three weeks of Viet Nam trip), staff helped to get a taxi and helped to load. That was very nice!!!

Just like home!
Stayed four nights with my 12 year-old son. It was a very comfortable stay. Near the metro station and bus stops. Very convenient location. They provided bottled water, fresh bread every morning, coffee/tea, and best of all a washing machine with a rack to dry your clothes. Will stay here again for sure :-)

Traditional Hanok with silence
I love traditional premises and this time I choose to stay in a hanok hostel. The location of this hostel is nearby the royal palace and easy to get there. Also I love the decorations of the hostel, it makes me feel so comfortable.

Comfort Korean Style home
It was great way to experience Korean style home stay. Manager Chloe was really informative when I first got there and made it felt like home. Only down side for me was that I got a single room and didn't had any closet to put my clothes. Next time, when I stay, I will need to get bigger room. One suggestion that I think they can improve on is may be have a bigger size shower towel.
It was nice to see a note every morning with breakfast which made day much better. I would definitely stay again.
This place was near walking distance of Subway as well as the two main palaces.

Great stay
This hanok is beautiful, giving a good sense of old Seoul. The house is well maintained and the staff is very nice and accommodating. The location is fantastic with a ton of food and bars right in the immediate area, right next to the beautiful old palace, and near lots of public transportation. I've stayed in Seoul several times and this is my favorite location. The only drawback is the "futon" on the floor takes a little getting used to for westerners, but the staff offers extra padding for those who aren't as comfortable on the floor. As the walls are very thin, light sleepers should bring ear plugs. Overall, excellent stay!

Perfect Korean style guesthouse
My stay here was a great introduction to a traditional Korean home. It was very comfortable and the hosts/staff were very kind and friendly. The location (although hard to find when arriving for the first time) is great with easy access to transportation, many great food and cafe options, and many cultural sights. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and would recommend it to others seeking clean, convenient, and more unique accommodation in Seoul rather than available from a major hotel.

Clean
My partner still misses their heated floor bathroom and heated toilet seat. Loved the traditional hanok experience without compromising modern bathroom and insulation.

Relaxing, Quaint and lay back Stay
We stayed for only 1 night in the hanook guesthouse. Although this is not the genuine hanook stay with a Korean family, the simulated stay is quite acceptable and in some sense better, if one values privacy, relaxation and peace of mind. The building is newly constructed and architecturally it resembles all the trappings of a traditional hanook. The environment was clean and pleasant and it made our stay there very enjoyable and we did carry with us some memories when we left.

Great service with personal touches
The best part about the stay is the hospitality of the guesthouse manager. She is very cheerful, friendly and helpful. I told her after the first night that the futon was too thin that I did not manage to sleep well, she immediately offer to send me another layer of it so I had good sleeps on the subsequent nights. I am on a low carbs diet so I told her not to prepare my breakfast (bread was prepared) so that I don't have to waste the food. She got me omelet on my last day of stay. The personal touches is the thing that make me feel like going back again.
The premise is new and well maintained. The room that I stayed is rather small but comfy with 2 very small windows that allow fresh airs. The location is a bit hard to find for 1st timer.
