I only wish we could have stayed longer!
At first we could not find the front door (after hauling it luggage up the Spanish Steps). Then didn't figure out we needed to buzz in to have reception open the door. After that, all was smooth and wonderful!
Elena was so sweet and welcoming. She easily explained everything we needed to know. She gave us all the keys and stored our luggage until the room was ready.
If you are walking from the metro with luggage and have more than one person, you might have someone wait downstairs with the luggage. Then it's only 1 floor up. The downstairs entrance is on the first landing of the Portuguese Steps (or is it Rampa Mignanelli). An easy walk (on mostly uncobbled sidewalks) from the metro. Or figure out how to exit the Metro at the opening at the top of the Spanish Steps. We couldn't figure it out.
The room was large and so nicely decorated! Fridge, water, extra pillows, nice shower, great air conditioning, etc.
We weren't there long enough to enjoy the terrace. Lovely little breakfast.
The entire place has only 6 rooms so you receive personal service.
I don't even have to say how perfect the location is! This will be where I stay whenever I come to Rome. 💕
