Horrible not best condition at all The bed is held up with 2x4 wood legs both beds , pictures included. Mattress was hard on one and other I sunk in middle. Extremely loud constant travel. Tractor trailers all night. No sleep.

Room good/check in unique

Room was good for just one night stay, clean and comfortable. Check in little unusual had to call phone number for someone to come to desk. Booked two rooms and had to register and pay separately for each room wouldn’t allow pay for both at one time.

We had read previous reviews and expected a nicer place. Oi. No one was there to greet us at all. When they showed up they told us that check out was at 10 am. The board on the wall said 11. I asked if he was sure. He read the board and says, "ojay, fine. It's 11" I've never seen a smaller room. The bathroom door didn't open all the way, there wasn't room. 2 small full size beds took up all the room. Tiny bathroom with something running down the side of the vanity. I don't want to know what that was. We won't be returning

Watch Out For Surprise Charges!

I have booked at The Lancaster Motel twice, only stayed once. My stay in October 2024 was good. Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful front desk service. No real issues at all. My last booking (I did NOT stay) was in January 2025. I booked the room via hotels.com based on my previous visit and chose pay on-site. When I arrived to check in, I was informed that there was a $100 security deposit due before I could check in. And that only Cash would be accepted for the deposit. When I questioned it, as I was not charged that in October, I was told it was a new policy. Fine. But there was no mention anywhere on their listing of this requirement. The desk person would not provide contact info for the management so I could ask them about it. I decided not to stay and was told when leaving that my card would not be charged since I declined the room. But I was charged. I emailed hotels.com who contacted the motel twice and was told both times that despite the circumstances the motel “declined to provide a refund.” I will NEVER stay at this motel again. And would recommend anyone considering it call before booking to get the full story. Or select the “reservation protection” option with hotels.com or a refundable booking option. I will say that when I called and spoke to a representative at hotels.com they recognized the situation for what it was and provided a refund for the booking themselves. Which I appreciated very much.

Went to check in after booking room through Expedia, hand them my credit card and drivers license, they said I need a $100 security deposit, I said that’s fine you can put on my card. Well they proceeded to say I needed a $100 cash security deposit, I told them I didn’t have that much cash on me, they said go next door to the gas station to get it out of the atm, I said no and to cancel my room through them & Expedia. There is a charge on my credit card statement that I used to reserve my room, and it is next to impossible to talk to a live person at Expedia. The whole deal seemed extremely shady to me, and I am extremely frustrated with Expedia which I used all the time for work travel up to this point.

It is a nice little place to stay with friendly staff. The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, but was enough for a 1 night stay. Biggest issue was, it was about 33°F outside and when I walked into the room it was so cold there was a layer of ice in the toilet that did not allow the used paper to go down. It took until I showered for it to melt completely. I turned the heat on high and it took about 3 hrs to feel comfortable in the room without a hat and sweatshirt on. Heat was not on at all when I arrived. There were a few items either not mentioned on website or that were different from website. First, there is a $100 cash security deposit that you will get back after the room is checked at checkout, but most people do not carry cash. That is not mentioned any where. Second, checkout is 10am, not 11am as mentioned on website. If it was warmer out I'm sure the room would have been better though.

The men in reception was amazing, I will be back because I did liked his service. The room are pretty and the area very quiet. The only thing there was some cockroach on the bathroom smaller one. I know that can be fix. Thank you

While they listed "Desk" in their ad, there was no desk. It was the cleanest room I have stayed in (for a motel) ever! Eating and working on the bed (as a desk) was a little difficult but overcome-able.

I was in room number one. 1.)The room is very small. It only has one upright dresser and one night stand. 2.) The mini fridge sits on the floor and the microwave sits on top of mini fridge. They should be on a stand for sanitary reasons and ease of use. 3.) No coffee maker to be found. 4.) The wall that I assume the shower piping is behind has black mold towards the baseboard. 5.) The wall in front of the toilet ( which is very confined ) had dirty drip marks running down the wall. Yikes. 6.)The headboard banged the wall whenever moving in the bed. 7.)The heater was extremely noisy! I turned it off so I could sleep and ended up cold. 8.)The parking is cramped and I worried about my car being damaged. 9.) The hotel sign was off at night and drove past a few times. 10.)They have one wall switch that controls power everything ! what a Pain! 11.) The floors looked like they were not swept. 12.) the patio tables where dirty and staind. FYI:The traffic noise is loud and the smell of cow manure was strong ( obviously they have no control). You decide if you want to check in or not. This is what I observed.

Our door opened at 3 oclock in the morning! Scared the life out of us. The owner said he forgot he rented the room and he wanted to show it to some people! (3 AM) Never offered and reimbersment of any kind just a sorry! Scared ten years off our life!

Room was very spacious but somewhat dated, bathroom nicely remodeled. There was no closet. Had to hang clothes on 4 hooks by the door. There was a small coffee maker but no pot to make coffee. Nice to have a mini fridge and microwave but a little “old” looking. Half a roll of toilet tissue, and only two towels for a reservation of 3 adults. Beds were comfy. Not bad for an overnight stay. It’s just an average “motel”, nothing fancy. Okay for an overnight stay.
