I stayed at the Meni Apartments for 5 days with my 10 year old son. The apartment was not hard to find using the GPS in the Taxi. We were nicely greeted and briefed on keys, front desk hours, and room operations. The elevator worked adequately but was very small. My son and I barely fit on the elevator with our small carry on luggage. The hotel is five floors with two apartments on each floor. Our apartment was clean and well kept. We had two bedrooms with views to the side street. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked great, the kitchen met our needs (dishes, utensils, pots, two eye hot plate, double sink, fridge, and microwave (we did not cook)), and the seating area was okay for us. The location of the hotel was appropriate for tourism. We were a two minute walk to the red city bus, taxis, and the metro. Restaurants and bread/sweets shops were plentiful within a short walk (Paula's restaurant across the street was delicious). We walked from Acropolis to the markets and before wee knew it, we were back at the apartment. I'm not sure how long the walk took, because we stopped/shopped a lot along the way.
I did not like the broken shower door, inadequate/broke iron, and the refrigerator could have been cleaned better. Above all, my biggest complaint would be the noise. I could hear everything happening in the apartment near us, everything happening on the street, and loud music/singing from the club beneath the apartment.
