Misleading / Deceiving Photos & Info
The photos you see of this hotel on Hotels.com ARE NOT OF THE ACTUAL HOTEL, it's a completely different hotel, way inferior to what is shown in the photos and offered in the description. The cover photo is of the Plaza and other hotel (Hotel de la cúpula)m and the rooms I have simply no idea what hotel is. The hotel is on a 1 star hotel rating (if any). One positive point is the two girls that are on the Front Desk Lobby, they are very helpful and kind, always ready to help. And that's it. I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL.

The staff was so nice. We actually got a free upgrade! They ensure you get the best service and best in everything. Their buffet breakfast and floating meal packages were really affordable, nice and attractive. The mountain view from the hotel is to die for. Would stay again. !!!

Staff was really attentive, Room was super clean and they were flexible enough for us to store our luggages and use the toilets after our reservation ended. Oh and the views of the mountains from the balcony in the morning is fantastic! Best value for the hotels in the area in terms of service, views and breakfast included as well. Bathtub should I keep going? Walking distance to the main town

Will definitely choose this hotel again Beautiful mountain view. the staff were extremely sweet and polite. good local breakfast and a decent selection of western breakfast. the hotel staff were always forthcoming and helping to make our stay extra comfortable. they even upgraded our room for us for free when we asked for a room with balcony. great location and accessible to eating places. might need to walk 10mins uphill to reach good restaurants

Cheap and good view
Staff communication skill still needs improvement, did asked for early check in under paid condition but they dont understand Poor breakfast line and not sufficient for the guest, by 7.30 bacon were finished off Location was uphill but they change the name from summit sth to icon 360 Unfortunate events, we met with the huge local group tour where they sang karaoke in their room and left the door open. Staff did warned them but still they wouldn’t care

We visit Icon 36 the middle of feburary 2018. When we came they don't now we will come because we have ordered with hotels.com our room there was 8 degress vhen we come we moved 3 times until they found a room with a heater it was still a cold room , the breek fast was not good and it was very cold the breekfast room. We have booked for 11 days but we moved after 5 days, don't book this hotel in winter time it is a summer hotel.

Amazing view
I was welcomed by a warm check in and got an upgrade to a balcony room with amazing nice view room, staff was super helpful and friendly, the receptionist were so impatient to answer all my questions, they gave me many tips with a local map which I can easily find highlight visiting places, restaurants, shops, market. So if you stay here, dont mind to ask them about everything, They offer cheap motorbike rent for 24 hours, the hotel location is also quite convenient to catch Fansipan mountain, Cat cat village, and Sapa town. We had chance to try a diner at the hotel restaurant, the lovely waitress suggested to try something local so we ordered a local hot pot, they served hot pot with a fish and a lot of fresh local vegetable, I can say the taste is wonderful and so new for us . Breakfast is not bad with variety of choice, you can order some fired eggs or omelet, or even Pho... , Overall I enjoyed my stay here. but there is only one thing I could recommend to improve is the wifi, I can access however it was not so stable sometime. I will be back next time

ไปช่วงปีใหม่ ที่มีพายุเข้า ฝนตกถนนเป็นโคลนสีแดง ให้พนักงานช่วยหามอเตอร์ไซต์เช่าก็ไม่หาให้ ให้เรียกแท็กซี่ให้ก็ไม่เรียก โรงแรมอยู่บนเนินลำบากมาก ที่สำคัญที่สุดคือ ในคำบรรยายบอกมีเครื่องทำความร้อน แต่ไปจริงๆไม่มี พอไปถามบอกว่า “ต้องมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มเติม” ลงไปกินอาหารเช้าตอน 8 โมงเช้า อาหารหมดก็ไม่เติมให้ เชือกโรงแรมอื่นเถอะ

การเข้าเช็คอินแย่มาก..จองห้องแบบมีระเบียงและมีวิวหุบเขา..พอมาถึงห้องที่ได้เป็นห้องอีกฝั่งที่ไม่มีอะไรเลย..แถมบอกว่าห้องเต็ม.. พอเข้าไปในห้องไม่มีทั้งแอร์,ผ้าห่มไฟฟ้า หรือฮีตเตอร์..ต้องลงไปโวยวายอีกรอบจนได้ห้องที่จองไว้....พนักงานทำตัวแย่มาก..พอกลับเข้ามาเห็นห้องที่จองไว้ยังว่างอีกเยอะ ช่วงเย็นขอให้โรงแรมจองรถบัสจากซาปากลับฮานอย...พนักงานคนเดิมที่ใส่สูทดำบอกว่าราคา12$ต่อคน..มา5คน=60$...และบอกให้จ่ายเงินก่อนแล้วจะจองให้..กลับมาถึงโรงแรมตอนค่ำ.พนักงานก็ไม่แจ้งอะไร..เงินก็ไม่เก็บไป.. เช้ามาชักไม่แน่ใจว่ายังไง..ถามที่เคาเตอร์อีกที..ที่นี้ค่ารถขึ้รจาก12$เป็น20$..เราก็ไม่ไปแล้วไปหาที่ตลาดข้างล่างก็ได้..เช็คเอาท์เลยดีกว่า..ปรากฎว่าปเจอที่ตลาดแบบเดียวกันราคา13$..จองเลย..พอกลับมาที่โรงปรมมันบอกว่าจองแล้ว..จ่ายเงินแล้ว..ถ้าไม่จ่ายเงินให้มันจะเรึยกตำรวง.. แล้วพบว่าไม่ใช่บ้านเราบ้านเดียวทีาเจอ..อีกบ้านก็เจอแย่ๆคล้ายๆกัน

Okay hotel, heating extra, confused staff
Stayed here for 1 night. Staff were generally confused and not helpful. Tried to help staff and let them know that location was not it stated location on google maps and should be adjusted. Did not acknowledge. Room did not include heat and had to pay 100k extra for sketchy heat lamp. Location was generally a bit of hike from the main square. View of mountain was great. Breakfast was descent.

Dont stay here!!
We needed to rest for couple of hours in the afternoon. Saw a good deal on expedia and booked. When we were checking in we realized the hotel had a power cut. The front desk said the whole city had power cut but we were too tired to fight and went to the room. The power came after 2 hours and the heater and ac system is not functional. The shower room had cracks in the floor and the water drainage was slow. The walls and roof are so thin that people in the top floor and neighboring rooms are so loud! avoid this hotel unless you just need a cheap stay and they paid u to stay here.
