We were looking for a place for a family of four - including two kids who were 11. So our options were limited, especially if we were looking for a hotel. This hotel had a suite with two rooms which was perfect for our family. The price was a bit steep, but given the time of the year (New Year’s Eve), we thought we would suck it up and take it.
The suit was located on top of the hotel. There were many structural issues with it. First, the suit felt like an attic. There are no windows offering views of the city. There are just small windows near the top of the ceiling. So it’s dark most of the time, I can’t tell the weather, and I can’t look outside. I felt like I was in a prison! And the celing is slanted, and you often bump your head. Even my children kept bumping their heads! Also, the showers - the showerhead was too heavy, and it would not stay up! It was so frustrating.
Also, there is this bump by the entrance of the hotel. When I was coming back from a quick trip to the near by store at night time, I completely forgot about its existence and I tripped and fell. I also witnessed other people tripping over it a few times.
On positives - the staff at the reception was friendly and the housekeeping did a good job at keeping everything clean.
I don’t have the experience of staying in other rooms, but I definitely not recommend the suite I stayed in, especially at the price I paid for.
