We chose this hotel because we have had very good experiences with other Country Inns & Suites in the past. The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable. The TP roll was almost empty when we arrived with only one extra roll in the bathroom. Had to ask for another during our stay.
The breakfast does not vary day to day as other hotels in this chain in which we've stayed longer than one night. Food starts running out about an hour before the end of the breakfast period so it is necessary to go down sooner than one would like to be sure to get coffee, hot water, bagels, and juice. Nevertheless, the hotel provides scrambled eggs, patty sausages, biscuits (& gravy), along with cold cereal, hot oatmeal packets, and a waffle maker. There is fruit and fruit juice, plus cellophane wrapped muffins, bagels, and bread slices. The breakfast area is very pleasant and inviting.
We would stay here again on future trips to Lubbock!
