Pleasantly surprised!
Stayed here for two nights when we needed to be close to Elstree studios, which is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Good value for money. Very clean, light and good sized room with very comfortable bed. A convenient M & S food store next door. Lovely staff, particularly Julie, who was so friendly and went out of her way to be helpful.

we booked for 2 adults and 3 children and we had two mattresses without cover and two blankets without cover and had no pillows. Instead they gave us towels.

Travelodge Borehamwood
We booked last minute to stay at this travelodge as we needed to be in London early next morning. Staff were very helpful and in particular Julie was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that the room was too warm. We were impressed with the breakfast facilities and also the fact that there was a bar so that we could enjoy a late night drink. We have stayed in many Travelodges but this one is the first to have a cafe/bar - there should be one in every travelodge!

I was staying by myself for one night (with the exception of my friend being in my room for an hour cos he was staying in the room opposite), and the room and service by staff were spot on
