Very busy at check- in which despite being pre-paid took 30 minutes to be served. Not enough staff on reception/ Check-in. Facilities are generally good however the pool area was poor, very tired looking needs repainting ng and new surface around the pool also the main feature waterfall was not working I think under renovation. Be aware that this is a convention hotel on our last night a National Lawyers convention started with 4,000 delegates which meant that all the resources were crowded and the staff stretched. For breakfast on the last day the restaurant was so full there where tables spilling into the corridor/ lobby area. I was pleased we were checking out that day

Waterfront casino - dont
It may have been unfortunate timing with chinese new year and graduations but i have NO positives for this accomodation 30 minutes to check in, no wifi (i spent over 4 hours trying to fix this), staff were hideously over worked and untrained, room service was ridiculously expensive ( pizza was soggy, salmon was over cooked) and 30 minutes to check out. Props to manager Michael for trying to help but the corpse had rigor mortis and could not be salvaged. The rooms are old and the decor dated, corridors were filled with noise. I booked a deuxe room and my view was the cooling towers for the air con. Truly dreadful

It’s a nice hotel. The pool was a bit rundown but still a large pool I enjoyed. The casino doesn’t take credit card (at least when I as there). Centrally located, convenient.

The staff makes the stay worth it.
It’s a decent place. Dated. Old accommodations. The AC was out, so it was rather hot throughout the hotel. But overall, worth $86 a night. Have stayed at far worse places. The staff is what makes it worthwhile though. As I’ve come to expect, Filipinos are the friendliest of people. Will bend over backwards to make you happy. Prices were more than reasonable on food and drinks. I was always treated with a smile. I look forward to staying at the sister hotel, Nustar. Cebu’s first and only 5 star hotel

INCONSIDERATE POLICY: CONFUSING HOTEL NAMES
Very very bad experience. We made error in booking because two properties were similarly named. With only just minutes from booking, request for cancellation was denied. We really felt we were deceived by the name similarity and no consideration was given.

Tiny single beds! their fault!
Tiny single beds where given in a supposed room upgrade to deluxe, the room we booked had 2 double beds in it and they said sorry it's not available any longer! we booked and paid for room "well in advance" therefore it was Waterfront staff that were to blame for not fulfilling booked room, I am 5 ft 10 inch and close to 190lbs those single beds are for kids! then they ration us to 2 very small bottles of water per day and charge 90p for 500ml per bottle after that!, all in all "Not" happy with our stay.
