There was a very small bug in the bed. We were concerned it was a bedbug. I have never seen one before, but when googling it, it looked similar. Called downstairs they offered us another room, we accepted, and then after looking in the computer said they were booked. I asked if someone could come up and at least look at the bug to make sure it wasn’t a bedbug and they said there was no housekeeping on staff and they would not be there until the morning. I immediately went down and turned in my keys and said I was checking out. The next day I called and asked for the manager to get a refund. They advised me housekeeping, checked the room that morning and there was no bedbugs. I think it’s great that there were no bed bugs however, they’re definitely was a bug that resembled one and I wasn’t taking any chances. I called multiple times and asked for a manager, left multiple messages and never even got a return call. A hotel should not have bugs and a simple return call and apology is the least they could’ve done.
