Overall, would definitely stay in this hotel again. We picked it for its low price when we had a family emergency and needed to stay in the area for the night. When we arrived late night, their system seemed to be not working, but despite that the receptionist Cici was so upbeat and polite.
We went while they are undergoing a big reno. We got upgraded to a newer room with a couch, the room didnt even seemed to be used yet which was nice. It does look like some of the renos have been rushed though. Theres paint on the outlet covers, no hooks on the back of the bathroom door, and the outlets next to the bed didnt work properly. There also wasnt any drawers to store clothing items.
Breakfast was very disappointing, again due to the renos, and only had a small offering of not so fresh items. I couldnt find a working ice maker on the 4th floor either.
I appreciated the quiet, especially with our 5 month old in tow, and the king bed was probably one of the comfiest I have ever slept in.
Hooefully after the renos are complete this will be a five star place.
