Even though the hotel was going through renovations, it was still very nice and tidy. When we entered our room the windows were wide open. Too cold it’s winter. Breakfast was okay and limited due to construction. Overall the stay was good, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Will return.

Renovations
the entire facility was being renovated We were lost on floors with plywood doors any no signs regading safety the first 3 floors/ pool/ kitchen , basically everything was being renovation without any fore waring . As an asthmamatic know this would have been great. I also went to the ER due breating difficulties in the middle of the night, I was sick all evening. The food the next day was in a smutt field room with industrial fans. Not ideal. We had to go get breakfast else were it was very disappointing

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel...
First problem started at check in... I noticed that the property was being renovated, therefore, no pool, no fitness center, no game room. Also, no Hot Breakfast. I had stayed at this hotel in the past, and those were the reasons I chose it this stay. Second problem was the first room we were given, the window shades were on the floor in a box, with bare windows. Back to check in... They gave us the wrong room... New Room... no soap in the bathroom, maid in hall didn't have any, 2nd maid did. They did not speak English, so it was a process. There was only one thin blanket and a sheet on beds, and one of the pillow cases was next to the bare pillow, someone stopped in the middle of putting it on?. It was below zero outside, an extra blanket or bedspread would have been the norm. The electrical outlets in bathroom, and just outside bath at mirror did not work. Had to dry hair without mirror at another outlet. One of the TVs was not hooked up at all, the other was tuned to Spanish Guide, we couldn't figure out the channels or how to switch it. The tub stopper did not work, so in order to give a child a bath, you had to keep the water running. It was quite dirty in the hallway off the lobby, where you had to go to reach the elevator, full of dust, loud fans, and construction debris. And the continental breakfast was served right in front of the main entrance, so every time someone came through, you had the cold blast of air. I would call before booking to ask if reno is done

Under HUGE Reno...Hotels.com failed...great staff
This a tough one. The Hotel is going through a major renovation...All rooms and public spaces including the Lobby and Amenities. None of this was listed on Hotels.com...so the Pool I was looking forward to was closed. The Suite I was in was falling apart...beyond the end of its lifespan for furniture and fixtures and construction was not just loud but banging...that said, the room was immaculate, the staff were very friendly and the issues with the room's disrepair are currently being addressed with a full reno...and the inaccuracies of the Hotels.com listing I think are Hotels.com's responsibility to have updated and correct. So it's a wash for a review I think...if the hotel was NOT undergoing a reno I would have said that the room was a dump...the same room in the pictures but the pictures are very old. I would stay here again when the reno is complete and I would hope that the hotel's owner decides to refresh the newly remodeled rooms sooner than the 17 years that was the last time my room had an update...when the hotel was built. Also, dog safe salt on sidewalks is a suggestion as I have a service animal and the salt was brutal...it's more money, so the lots and drive can go without, but the sidewalks should have dog safe salt. (I live in NYC where the Port Authority and our local sidewalks are all salted with dog safe salt)

The hotel is under construction. There for it is not clean and not silent. It is not informed about the hotel construction at all. It is a bad surprise. The air condiition system of the rooms is very noisy and hard to sleep. You have to choice not to sleep or not to be warm. The breakfast serve area is awful since the construction as well.

Great Stay Considering
Overall, would definitely stay in this hotel again. We picked it for its low price when we had a family emergency and needed to stay in the area for the night. When we arrived late night, their system seemed to be not working, but despite that the receptionist Cici was so upbeat and polite. We went while they are undergoing a big reno. We got upgraded to a newer room with a couch, the room didnt even seemed to be used yet which was nice. It does look like some of the renos have been rushed though. Theres paint on the outlet covers, no hooks on the back of the bathroom door, and the outlets next to the bed didnt work properly. There also wasnt any drawers to store clothing items. Breakfast was very disappointing, again due to the renos, and only had a small offering of not so fresh items. I couldnt find a working ice maker on the 4th floor either. I appreciated the quiet, especially with our 5 month old in tow, and the king bed was probably one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. Hooefully after the renos are complete this will be a five star place.

Never again
The hotel is under renovations. The room we stayed in was outdated and the walls marked up and dirty The drain in the shower and sink drain extremely slow. The pillows flat offer no support. The room sheets and pillow cases made my son break out in a rash. The heater makes strange noises all night and the room smelled funny. The staff was great, but I will never stay there again. I will also check other reviews before just trusting hotel.com

Not going back
When we arrived we were given keys to the suite we had reserved. Upon entering the room we realized that the room had not been cleaned since the previous guests had left. We went to the front desk to get a new room. We then went to the new room, which was not a suite, it was a standard room. We were never offered any discount or anything to make up for the error. The new room had been cleaned, but everything in the room was in poor condition. The only excuse I'll give them credit for is the building is under construction. This would have been valuable information considering I woke up to the pounding of hammers. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that offer better rooms at similar prices. No need to go back to this establishment.
