I don't recommend this hotel. Arriving around 19:30, which was not outrageously late, the room we were assigned was a room accessible for the handicapped. The problem was that the staff did not give any account of this before we found it out with all the luggage in front of the door. The floor plan of the room is a little different, which was not really convenient for us. Asking for the change, the first thing the same personnel told me was that we had already used the room so it was "dirty", which obviously was not really the point. When I continued to ask, she said that as the hotel was sold out that night, she’d check if anybody else was arriving that night. Next she offered two options, whether we change the room (which means there was a room available when we arrived) or we just stay (which I don't think is really a new option). However, in the middle of the call, she said people came to check in for the last room which had been available when we arrived, so we have no other choice but to stay. She said we could change the next day, but who would spend time in unpacking, packing, and repacking for the two-night stay with all the business to take care of during that time? She lastly added she'd talk to the manager about any promotion for our inconveniences, but never heard from any one until the point we checked out. I do think the staff should have explained to us about the room assignment when we checked in. I do not think the steps she took afterwards was appropriate.
