Siem Reap classes and workshops can be a great part of your Cambodia vacation experience. Many non-Khmer – visitors and expats alike – enjoy Khmer food. It is generally not spicy as other Southeast Asian cuisines, and home-cooked Khmer food is quite delicious.

That’s why taking cooking lessons to learn how to prepare authentic Khmer dishes are popular in Siem Reap. Several hotels and restaurants offer such cooking classes, and we present a few of them here. You may also participate in various other fun yet insightful activities and learn something new about the local Cambodian food and culture while on vacation!

Khmer Ceramics & Fine Arts Center offers 2-hour classes where you can learn the ancient art of Khmer pottery. In a typical class, you are guided by Khmer potters and no prior experience is necessary for you to be able to create your own personal ceramic work of art.

After your class, they often offer to deliver your fired and glazed masterpiece to your place in Siem Reap within 24 hours. Free pick up from your hotel is also often part of the package, too.
