The first room they had me in had hairs on the corners of the floor and woman's hair strain stuck on the top of door of the bathroom. This was something I was willing to look over the shoulder but the shower took quite a while to run hot water. According to engr. hot water runs from the top of building and trickles down so you might have to run the shower longer than you'd normally do if only few other rooms sharing the line are running shower to get the hot water running. I got in at around 4-5pm? and had to run the shower long but the drain was clogged and was about to run over. Engr. fixed it promptly (20-30min?) but the sewer smell remained somehow(this I was also willing to look over as well as my using shower might drain the smell). Depending on your preference the hot water might not be hot water, just in between hot and warm. That's why I called the front again. Engr. confirmed that the temp of water is what it is, was willing accept but front desk decided to move me to the room across where they were checking the temp none the less(thank you). Free shuttle, when leaving, plan an hour or more earlier to get to the airport as the (what seemed to be) one shuttle they operate can get stuck at the LAX traffic and can/will get delayed. This is in no part the hotel's fault but something to be aware of. The staffs were friendly and made adjustments to my needs, so, trust me this is not a complaint. I would recommend and stay at Sonesta again if I visit LAX again.
