Unfortunately, My family and I will not be returning to this establishment for any future vacations.
After a 2-hour wait for check-in because of a "system error" you would think common courtesy would be to explain where your room is, and how to open the door. After finally finding our room it would not work, however, I did not know to turn the handle up. That simple sentence, "thank you for staying with us, your room is this direction, and when you get there turn the handle up" would have made sense from a hospitality standpoint after having a customer wait 2 hours for check-in.
The room reeked of mildew and mold, The bathroom floor had garbage on it, and the sink faucet was so far back that it was impossible to use it properly. The stench in the room left all of my family sick.
The property reserves the right to shut down the water park at any time, which is fine, however, on the days that it's open they only have half of it open at a time. So if you have small children that can't go on the big slides, you're going to sit and watch during the rotation back to the little slides, which in all reality is a terrible setup.
On top of all that, the shops and other eateries within the hotel apparently have their own hour set up and clothes earlier than stated in the welcome pathlets in the room. Skip the breakfast buffet, because it should be included with the room and be labeled a continental breakfast. $20 per person is outrageous.
