Sonesta is not okay - find somewhere else
We did not know this was a no frills property. This was a suite with 2-queen beds and a separate sofa bed in the other room. Five guests were booked.
There is no cleaning of the room included. If you need the garbage emptied or the towels changed you have to ask. And who wants to make their own beds when on vacation?
We had 5 registered quests. There is no place to hang towels. The garbage builds up quickly. Had to ask every day for these to be done and then had to ask for extra towels since only 3 were provided.
The sofa bed was awful - stained, old fashioned, 4” mattress with no protector. Bedding was not included in the room. My son ended up sleeping on the closed sofa as it was truly uncomfortable.
Then to top it off, they charged us $5 per day to park in their dedicated parking lot. What was that for? There was no security in the parking lot.
Never will we stay in a Sonesta property again. I feel cheated.
