A+ service
What this property lacks in amenities, it more than makes up for in customer service.
My dauggter and I stayed here while she her orientation at the U of Alabama. I can't even detail how above and beyond this staff went to make our stay feel like we were with family.
I believe the manager is Luke and I don't even want to gove specifics about some of the ways he helped our stay.....(if you read this..think bedding for my daughter).
Over the next 4 years, this will be my go to hotel while my daughter is in college. Super close to campus, stores, food, beer, everything.

What a disaster
Hotel was overbooked but they did get me a reservation at another hotel, with great effort. Tried to call them when I was first notified but the answering machine hung up on me about a dozen times. When I arrived about six hours later, only then, when they tried to call another hotel, that they discovered their phones werenโt working - SIX HOURS. They finally got a hold of someone who told me to go to the hotel next door. I got to that hotel and the front desk clerk was not informed but she did figure out the problem and got us situated. The staff at the Fairfield was totally incompetent.

Great hotel, close to everything!
Drove 5.5 hours from Florida because we were in the area to purchase a new car. Great customer service, clean and good location! We did not use the indoor pool, but it looked nice! They have a snack area in the lobby, plenty of seating and breakfast with coffee. Would stay here again! Not sure of the manโs name that we did a late check in with on May 19th, but he was so nice and helpful and quick to check us in!

When we tried to check in we were told they could not give us the requested and paid for king bed room but that they could put us in a room with double beds. The front desk person did call the other Marriott locations and found us a king bed. Very frustrating after a long trip

Wrong Stinking Room
The room was not available as advertised, they changed my room and added a charge. The breakfast was too late to be useful. The room smelled awful, I really should have demanded a different room but I was so exhausted I decided to just put up with it.

The bed was horrible!! They need to upgrade the mattress. The hotel looks nice on the outside but the inside doesnโt look like other Marriott Hotels I stayed at.

The manager and all staff made this the best experience. I stayed in the same hotel in a different city the night before and it was the worse experience I ever had. So I was glad I gave it another shot.
