I stayed here so I could be very close to Toronto Western Hospital, where my injured son was being treated. If I had a choice, I would not do it again. This inn does not deserve a 6/10 rating, and I am suspicious of many of the reviews.
The skylight in my room leaked - badly - during a summer rain (streams of water, not drips). The toilet only flushed when I used a plunger. The bed and pillows were extremely hard. The towels and sheets were stained. The bathroom smelled of sewer gas and I had to cover the shower drain with a towel. The rooms are not serviced daily, and even when you ask for fresh towels or bathroom tissue it often takes more than 24 hours and repeated visits to the front desk before they act. The front desk is frequently closed during the day for no apparent reason. The television was only usable via an antenna, which was nailed to the wall of the room. The air conditioner was not fully functional (broken controls) and was extremely loud (grinding and rattling sounds).
