This is a nice hotel located close to the entrance to spectacular Canyon de Chelly. The personnel were pleasant, and the architecture has been designed with Navajo materials and shapes in mind. There is a small restaurant on site, with limited hours; the town has a few fast food joints. The guide books do not mention it, but the very extensive Navajo reserve lands do not allow the sale of alcohol, so if this is important to you, bring it along. The water is a bit brown (with iron?). I drank it without harm, but if you are fastidious, bring your own water too. Be sure to take a jeep ride in the canyon with a native guide. It was great and not too expensive. Several companies are available on line.
