It was a motel, not a hotel. Somehow missed that memo. Check in was quick, and friendly. Room spelt like wet ashtray as soon as we opened the door mixed with musty smell. It was disgusting. We checked right back out and stayed somewhere else.

Shower soap buildup. Toliet barely worked. And i paid for 2 rooms and was only able to stay in 1 with 4 of us. They were running behind on getting rooms clean due to being booked all weekend for event.

This property is so convenient for travelers to northeast Iowa, and a great bargain! The breakfast is a wonderful bonus to the comfortable rooms (those beds are great!), and the office has a bar and grill on-site. The live music on the weekends is a great feature, and makes weary travelers feel welcome. I enjoy my stay here and will definitely be back.
