Two stars because at least the roof didn't leak. Seriously, though, for the price we paid at this place, I expected MUCH more.
This place is charging premium prices for what amounts to a very basic, borderline run-down room. The amenities are sparse: think thin towels, questionable cleanliness, and a continental breakfast that consisted mainly of sugary cereals and stale pastries.
Honestly, the room itself felt dated and overpriced. The furniture was worn, the paint was peeling in places, and the overall atmosphere was just… disappointing. I've stayed in cheaper motels that offered a better experience.
Unless you're absolutely desperate and every other hotel in the area is booked, I'd seriously consider driving a little further and finding a better value for your money. The Red Roof Inn & Suites Cave City is simply not worth the price they're charging.
