I booked a room for a three-day stay. After checking in and seeing the room, I found somewhere else to go. The room reeked; it smelled like someone was trying to mask dead body odor by sprinkling the room with a full container of Carpet Fresh. The beds were professionally made up, but I couldn't imagine sleeping in one of them because the comforter looked like it was the same comforter that was used for the hotel's 1965 (guessing at the year based on how old the comforter looked) opening night.

I called the property and told them I was not coming. They said they would cancel my room. I got there the next day for a room that I was keeping. I saw on my card that this room was charged to me. They told me that since I booked through Expedia they couldn't do anything. They never said this on the phone to me and charged me as a no show. I was very disappointed. The room I received the next day had an awful smell. The carpet was wet, there was blood on the bedding. Hair and other brown items on the sheets. I did ask for a new room and the obliged. It was somewhat cleaner. I am very upset I had to pay for the room that I specifically called and canceled.

We booked online and it mentioned a pool. The pool is closed for 20 days and the website did not say that. I asked to cancel and get a refund and they said to do it through expedia. Expedia told me to have them put an approval note on the cancelation but the manager would not ans told me to have Expedia call and approve it. So Expedia called and no one answered so they're waiting on the hotel staff to approve my refund so I'm waiting for 2 days now.
