We arrived around 530pm. Seamed a little rustic but we went inside. Check-in was ok nothing special. Went to our room and was a little dark and old looking. A number of noticeable repairs were made but not too bad. Left for dinner. When we came back we were getting ready for bed and noticed the sheets were a little dingy . Looked closer and found they had not been changed after the last rental. Noticed pubic hair on the undersheet. Went down to the office no one was there and no one answered the number to call on the door. We just wanted new sheets. Had to sleep on top of the bed no covers. Lucky for us it was a warm night. The shower head had alot to be desired. There was hot water but the shower was always on even in the off position. Sorry but we would not recommend this place unless it was remodeled.

It’s Tombstone!!
Right off the bat, this is Tombstone Arizona, the desert, so I wasn’t expecting too much so I wasn’t disappointed. The hotel is old and needs a lot of care and attention. The linens are dingy and kinda brown like the surrounding dirt even though they are laundered. The bath towels are the size of hand towels and don’t even cover your body. The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Friendly motel near Tombstone
Cute little motel within 10 minute walk (some of the walk is on the highway) of downtown Tombstone. Loved the wooden floors, brick walls, saloon doors and tiles in bathroom. Very friendly staff. Room had a great view of the mountain sunset. Older motel with updates but clean and what we wanted for a Tombstone experience. Would stay again.

Needs some housekeeping training.
The staff was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned properly. When we entered the room, we found a cell phone sitting in the desk and returned that to the front desk. We left for dinner and came back to find that one of the pillowcases had blood on it and our bathroom had dirty towels hanging on the back of the door and a used shampoo bottle sitting on the bathtub. It was very windy and raining, so we opted to throw the pillow in the corner and not take a shower that night and asked the front desk to clean the bathroom properly for us. We left for the day and came back to find that someone had removed the shampoo bottle, but the dirty towels were still hanging on the back of the door. Complained again and was brought fresh towels and the towels were removed. We were still not comfortable with whether the bathroom had been sufficiently cleaned. My husband showered and I opted to wait until we got home to shower. We would not opt to stay here again.

It was a great cute little place to stay. I was not impressed with the "hot breakfast" of frozen waffles next to a microwave. They also had a few cereal choices with a gallon of milk in the fridge, one flavor of bagels, and a broken coffee machine.

One hiccup
Everything that we grade as high standard with the only exception being breakfast was more like a continental breakfast rather than a full breakfast. We understand new management is in place and we saw new equipment was being brought in hopefully make the breakfasts in the future better. We’ll give it one more try and see if things improve.

The sign as you pull in says 20% off for AZ residents. Did not apply that. There was no privacy shade on my window, so I had to change in front of the open window. The light blasted in the window all night. I let the front desk know and all they said was “ok”

Older, but overall good!
The hotel is under new management so maybe some of these items could be addressed in the future. The positives: breakfast was great. The price was good. Staff was friendly. The shower water pressure was perfect! Now the Needs Improvement: The hotel bed in our room was definitely an older one and not comfortable. The towels are very small and scratchy. The room heater/air even set at a set temperature, seems to work too well! It got hot in there despite being set at 66 for the heat to come on.

No privacy
I am pretty basic when looking for a hotel. I don’t need a lot. But I do expect a clean bathroom and some privacy in my room. I didn’t get either of those here. First thing we noticed was that there wasn’t a privacy curtain in our room. Just a sheer curtain that, at night, showed everything in the room. When I brought this up to management, he said, “I’ll send someone up.” No one came. We ended up hanging our comforter over the window. The toilet had not been wiped down, how do I know? I’d rather not say. Ew. The shower probably wasn’t either, something had dropped down the side and was left for us to wonder what it was. Again, ew. Upon doing my bed bug check, we luckily didn’t find bed bugs, so there’s that, but we did find popcorn under the mattress. How does popcorn get under there?! Initially, the bed felt hard and bony, but admittedly, it wasn’t a terrible night’s sleep. But, I would not stay here again.

Nice place up on the hill. Check was easy and they allowed us an early check. My dogs loved the area but watch out for the coyotes. Breakfast was good!

Great stay overall!
Overall, the stay was great. Customer service is a big deal for me; the lady who checked us in was terrific. She offered coffee, hot cocoa, cookies, and came out and ignited the fire for us. She was just super friendly. The lady who set up breakfast was equally super. The room was a bit older, but it was clean and comfy. The towels could have been a bit more comfortable, but it did the job. Great overall and and I would stay there. The price was great through the app I used.
